Great Falls, Montana

DAY 12, in which Little Buddy hits critical mass, finds his inner confidence, and banishes his fears.

This one is Short & simple:

Destroy your fears.

this simple shed became our canvas: a box that little buddy was stuck within.

At this point in our journey we felt more and more confident in ourselves, hitting a nice stride with only 3 days left of the project. For the evenings of DAY 11 & DAY 12 we stayed at Craig's Aunt & Uncle's place, which allowed us a nice moment of rest from our typical scramble – we didn't realize how nice it was not having to drive 6+ hours each day! This bought us some extra time to think about our brave main character, Little Buddy, and how he can muster up his own self-confidence to defeat his fears of failure.

Green has always represented his inner creative passion, so we felt a strong blast of green light was what best represented his inner strength illuminating out.

we also caught up on some kickstarter backer rewards!

One particularly ambitious part of our journey was offering a backer reward for personally written postcard sent along our journey. We completely underestimated how long those take us! Even finding postcards along the way (and postcard postage for that matter) was significantly trickier than we thought. Regardless, it was still so meaningful to take a moment to personally thank those who supported us, and are cheering us on.

Next, up we continue on through the mountains to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
