— DAY 9 —
SHERIDAN, WYOMING
DAY 9, in which Little Buddy enters a somber dreamscape reflecting on something he left behind.

This morning we woke up feeling rested and fully charged, as we got on the road toward Yellowstone.
We decided tonight we'll find somewhere to camp along the way and project on something nature-y.

It feels good to be out here all Lewis & Clarky.

We ended up caught in a torrent of a storm, and decided to bunker down in Sheridan, WY. Seriously, the AM radio station described the storm and how it was basically hitting exactly where we were, increasing from flood watch to flood warning (ooohhhh ahhhh).

Learning from the past week, we decided not to push up into the mountains to Yellowstone late at night during a big storm, and spend time focusing in on a great DAY 9 installation. We snagged a tent/electric spot at the nearby Big Horn KOA, and utilized their electricity to silently (our generator is pretty quiet, but not when people are trying to sleep) light map the base of a perfect tree next to our site.

This is one we have been wanting to execute since the beginning of the project, but were unsure when. Until now.
After our trip's first torrential downpour, and its somber aftermath we decided to reflected again on what it meant to do this project, and created DAY 9. The content in this episode is so important to us, and we didn't want to cut any corners, so we stayed up until the sunrise as we pulled the final shots together.
It's an episode we're super proud about, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.
